The Marriage Builders Ministry is a volunteer-developed and volunteer-run ministry. Since its inception in 1997, our mentor couples have mentored hundreds of couples. There are many marriage ministries that mentor engaged couples. What makes us unique is that we also mentor seriously dating and troubled married couples. Mentoring is a huge part of the Marriage Builders Ministry. While there are no perfect marriages, Mentor Couples offer invaluable advice and guidance on marriage issues ranging from problem solving, communication, finances, and the in-laws. Here's what one of our Mentor Couples had to say:
| "Mentoring, though scary at times, overall has been such a positive experience for us. One thing is the joy it brings each time we get that direct evidence or indirect glimmer that something that happened or was said during one of our sessions actually seemed to help our couple with whatever issue they were dealing with. The unexpected thing that has happened to us, is how much mentoring matures our own marriage. For us, God seems to reward our selflessness in mentoring other couples, with a deeper enrichment of our own marriage." |
You can be a mentor couple to an engaged couple, those who would like enrichment, or to those in troubled relationships. If you feel God is calling you to minister to marriages please contact us.
