Skip is an energetic, ministry focused guy who has an overwhelming passion is to see people become fully devoted followers of Christ.

What does he do for CLC?
He serves on the Discipleship team overseeing the Small Groups ministry, the Men’s Ministry and works alongside the Prayer Ministry team.

What does he do when he’s not working?
Skip is either running, biking, or swimming. He loves reading books, white water rafting, and hiking in the woods. Hands down, his favorite activity is spending time with any of his family and friends.

What did he do before CLC?
Born and raised in St. Louis, Skip graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BS in Education and then Southern Seminary with a Master of Religious Education. He has 30+ years of Christian education experience working with small groups with an emphasis in church growth. Skip did have a 7 year stint as an international missionary to Seoul, Korea.

Significant others?
Skip has three daughters: Heather, who is currently involved with raising Skip’s only grandson, Elijah. Brittany, who lives in Louisville, KY. And Kristin, who lives in Fayetteville, NC. He also enjoys his three sons-in-law.
