Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I register my son/daughter for an event?
A: Register for events online, at any Info Center during regularly scheduled weekend or midweek services, or in the SLC before or after Jr. High’s Midweek Service. Registrations for Jr. High Events are secured only when payment and permission slip are turned in.
Q: Once I register my child for an event, can I cancel?
A: Please plan carefully when placing event deposits and payments. This helps us provide well-executed events as we purchase tickets, request transportation and room usage, and secure adult leadership. Because of this, all events are non-refundable.
Q: How will my child be transported, when applicable?
A: Students will be transported via CLC’s bus, vans driven by CLC approved and insured drivers, and in rare occasions by charter bus.
Q: Will there be enough chaperones?
A: CLC’s policy is a 1:10 ratio. We aim for 1:8 and most times achieve 1:6. If you are still concerned, or would be willing to help, please contact Pastor Scott about the possibility of helping.
Q: What about the safety of my child?
A: Whenever possible, we strive to have a Registered Nurse or trained Emergency Medical Technician with us, and Medical Release/Permission Slips on hand in the event of an emergency. In such a case, you will be contacted as soon as possible at the number given on the Medical Release/Permission Slip.
Q: What do I do if my child needs to take medication while in your care?
A: All medication, prescription and non-prescription, MUST be turned in to the staff/nurse upon arrival. All medications MUST be in their original bottle with complete instructions.
